Macca's Grimace Shake - Review (Hope it does not come back)
If you’ve heard about the Grimace Shake that McDonald's dropped in the U.S., it was to celebrate the 52nd birthday of Grimace, that big purple cant. Apparently there was a huge craze for it over there while it was available. But it has been launched in Australia too, we just had to try it so you won't have to.
We sucked on that straw for just a second and this purple flavoured milkshake took us out. It tasted like diabetes, depression with hints of low grade bronchitis. It was sweet af and the team scrambled for water or a bottle of Monster from the nearest Kyle and his broken Gyprock to drown out the taste.
As we know everyone is just going to take one sip and throw the rest away, I hope that it is ethically sourced from locally owned Grimaces, straight from their McTeet. Or squeezed freshly squeezed purple juice. Purple is a fruit.
When you get to the Maccas counter, please also record yourself saying "I don't want juice, I want drank" for the full American experience.
